These pens are pretty neat, they have a variety of tools within them. Personally I like the black pen more because it has more tools, the yellow pen has all the same tools as the black one but lacks the LED flashlight and bottle opener and instead has two more rulers on its sides. The black pen has a touch screen stylus hidden within, simply unscrew the pen tip to reveal and use it. The yellow pen has the stylus where an eraser would be on a pencil so it's more readily available. The screwdrivers in both pens are the same size, so there is no need to use one over the other. In the yellow pen the screwdriver is stored underneath the stylus and is easy to access. The black pen also has it's screwdriver underneath its stylus but as I mentioned before the stylus is within the pen, so you would have to unscrew the pen tip, then unscrew the stylus to reveal the screwdriver. For me the yellow pen has the advantage of convenience here. The black pen has only two rulers, one measures inches (up to 4 inches) and the other measures millimeters (up to 10 millimeters). The yellow pen has four rulers, one measures inches (up to 4 inches) and the other three measure millimeters, the first one measures up to 10 millimeters, and the other two measure millimeters in finer increments but still equal about 10 millimeters. You can use the barrel of each pen as a ruler and unscrew the pen tips to mark the measurements you need, both pens can be used to write while they have been remove from their barrels. The black pen works better for this because the pen has the stylus, which means it is better designed to be used without the barrel. The yellow pen's tip can be pulled out to be removed, while the black pen's tip has to be unscrewed. There are no tools hidden behind the yellow pen cap but it does have a larger inkwell compared to the black pen.The bubble levelers in each pen work fine, the hexagonal shape of the pens help you utilize the levelers in a way that they can be viewed from a few different angles. The leveler in the black pen is harder to read the position of the bubble and black marker lines. because the interior of the pen is black, The yellow leveler is easier to read because it has a lighter backdrop. The LED flashlight in the black pen is surprisingly bright for its size, it comes with batteries and is ready for use directly out of the box. The pen set also come with two spare inkwells, one for each pen.The metal the black pen is made of is strong and shouldn't bend when using the bottle opener.I imagine having trouble replacing the two different sized, small ink cartridges. I'm happy that they included replacements, but I feel like it could have had much more and I would happily pay a bit more for it.The ruler is used almost daily. The each stylus works with my Galaxy smartphone. I love them. If, like me, you thought they didn't give you the second stylus, look better at the diagram. It's in the unit with the bottle opener. It screws out and you have a mini-pen with stylus. So, technically, you can use this as three units. You can use the pen separately from the flashlight and use the other one as a ruler. It's a thoughtful design. And that flashlight is a pretty powerful light for such a small unit.My only other issue is how hard it is to remove and replace the ring that keeps the flashlight from being operated. I don't want to accidentally have the flashlight turned on in a pocket or purse and die out on us. There weren't replacement batteries--another thing I would have paid slightly more to have extras of. The ring hurts under the fingernail if removed too often.Bottom line: Would I order again? Yes. This is a good price for what it is. Would I gift? Yes. This is a great gift. Nicely paired with something that needs a bottle opener.Almost perfect, reducing one start as one is a bit heavy for me, if you do not mind the weight then is perfect.I picked this up as a Vine Reviewer item, but don't really NEED it myself. I've tested out most of the features it provides, and yes, they all work, just fine. But it's certainly no replacement for "proper tools." Just a nice "fall-back" if you need one of its functions and don't have a "proper tool" readily available. There are two items which are quite a bit different in overall design... they don't look like they were designed by the same people or intended to be sold as a set, frankly. The first device has a tiny LED flashlight (not bad, but not remotely as useful as, say, a "Mini-Maglite," much less a full sized multi-cell flashlight), a tiny bubble level (not terribly useful, as it's very small, but not BAD per-se), a "ruler" (in centimeters) along one edge, a bottle opener notch, a shortedened-cartridge ball-point-pen, a "capacitive screen stylus" tip, and a screwdriver tip with two ends (a small phillips and a small flat head). The second device has many of these same features... a bubble level, three ruler sections (an INCH ruler, a centimeter ruler, and apparently a 1:200 and 1:300 scale ruler), a "capacitive screen stylus," a ball-point-pen, and the same screwdriver item. Apart from the additional ruler scales, it provides nothing that the OTHER device doesn't also provide, in other words. All features which are potentially useful, in some circumstances, but which are better served by serious, dedicated devices, in other words. This is something that I'll keep in my desk at work, most likely, for occasional "backup purposes" if I need a particular tool and can't seem to find where it's gone to at the moment. It could prove useful. But it's not a replacement for "serious tools."Then again, it doesn't really sell itself as anything like a "serious tool." It is, exactly, what it purports to be, and so I can't really fault it for not being anything more. The Multitool Pen is useful and easy to carry around. My dad is a mechanic and when I saw this I instantly thought of him - and I was right! He loves it.He goes through many pens in the run of a day but these he held on to all day because they were bigger than normal and more useful.Pros:-It's like a multi-knife but without the knife-Everything on it worked as intended (the level, ruler, bottle opener, light, ink......)Cons:-The 'screwdriver' bits were VERY small and you only get 2.... I don't forsee them getting used ever-A little bit more than I'd like to pay ($25.99) for a stocking stuffer but if it goes on sale - it's a definite winAll in all, it's pretty cool and if you have a handy man (or woman) in your life - this is a really nice gift!At the time of order, this set of multitool pens is $27.99 and has now dropped to $22.99.Having a multitool pen is more convenient than I thought it would be. If there is one tool I always have with me, it would be a pen. The pen would usually have something that comes in handy for me, like the flashlight for small tight spaces or using the leveller and then pen to mark.- Comes with 2 pens. Both pens are similar but not the same.- Good quality and construction. Feels very solid and durable.- Pens are thicker than your standard 2 HB pencil.- Flat sides are wide and feel comfortable to hold when writing for larger hands.- The pens are pretty good- These are twist pens and they write smoothly + have a good consistency- The leveller is helpful but not easy to use on top of things that are smaller than the width of the pen.- Pen can be slippery- Easy to clean- Comes with 2 extra ink refills. At $22.99, this is priced reasonably considering it comes with 2 pens and the quality is good. My experience with these pens is pretty positive and I would recommend them.Quick Review:So this is an interesting concept in a pen set. Each pen is set up a bit differently, but do share some common features.Have a number of features like a light, stylus, rulers, bottle opener, screwdrivers, levels...Construction seems pretty good overall.Like that they both include the batteries, and extra ink for the pens.At time of review these were only 20 bucks...not too bad really. While decent enough, i just can't see myself using many of the features...I already have dedicated tools that do all these things, and are better suited to.Would make a good stocking stuffer, or office set IMO.
